Through the Eyes of Clydeson Caughts: a you-portrait

I was sitting on a stool at a bar in a Starbucks here in Santa Fonda, California, when I chose to get his likeness through the window. Yesterday I claimed that I’d be taking for a while self-portraits. Well, I’ve changed my mind. This is a you-portrait, get it? A you-portrait is representative of the way I see “you,” general. As you are a member of the population at large. From my perspective he was engaged in delighted and authentic conversation with a man outside of the frame. The thing we call “intuition” informed me thus. It helps that regarding him inspired nostalgia for a boon companion, misplaced years ago never to be reclaimed, when myself and that companion daily jumped off the same cliff for the Joy of it…
